Catherine completed a Bachelor of Resource & Environmental Planning, with Honours, from Massey University in 2016. During the course of her degree she completed papers on urban design, transport, environmental law, and GIS.
Since graduating, Catherine has gained experience within the local government and private practice sectors, and has worked with national-level organisations, regional councils and individual clients. She is skilled at assessing non-notified and notified resource consent applications, plan interpretation and implementation, issue resolution, auditing, and preparing applications for resource consent.
A talented and decorated equestrian, Catherine has been crowned New Zealand Young Rider Dressage Champion, National Level 6 Champion, and New Zealand Young Rider Horse of the Year Champion. Outside of planning, Catherine is a dedicated instructor, trainer and competitor with her team of horses.
