Tom Mills: Experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor and a full member of Survey and Spatial New Zealand.
Tom is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor and a full member of Survey and Spatial New Zealand.
He has experience in both urban and rural subdivision developments, as well as all types of surveying including topographical, construction set-out, boundary definition, easement areas, cross-lease updates, land transfer surveys, infrastructure design and project management.
Having recently returned home after travelling through South America, Tom is passionate about discovering new places, landscapes, and cultures.
In the professional realm, Tom loves the balance of indoor and outdoor work that surveying brings. He appreciates being in a position to help clients find solutions to realising the full potential of their land asset and in a manner that respects the environment.
Tom considers that the future of land development in New Zealand will require a careful balance between facilitating infill and medium-density developments and maintaining open spaces. He is excited about the use of new technologies to make surveying increasingly efficient and cost-effective.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys getting up to Turangi for some trout fishing and watersports, having a few beers with mates, being involved with sports, and date nights with his fiancé. He is also looking forward to continuing learning Spanish.
